Origin: South America

Characteristics: Color varies from yellowish- gold to brown, sometimes with a rosy tint. Some quartered logs have a broad heavy figure similar but more subtle than Avodire. Also referred to as Honey Tree and Amarillo. Produced mostly as quarters.

Uses: Architectural woodwork and fine furniture.
